We are based in West Hagbourne (OX11). Exact location details and parking instructions are sent upon booking. Most of our sessions take place in a spacious natural setting with trees, fields, and lots of space to explore safely. Crystal kids sessions take place at The Retreat Space set on the same farm as the wild tribe field.

Any comfort item your child might need (especially for drop-offs)

We provide all materials for activities, crafts, and nature play.

  • Base layer
  • Mid and thermal layers
  • Waterproof jacket and bottoms
  • Wellies & other waterproof footwear, trainers or suitable warm weather footwear (we do also encourage bare feet)
  • A plastic bag for muddy boots and clothing
  • Hat and gloves
  • Any other essentials, like sun cream, sun hat & insect repellent

Good waterproof clothing is an investment and with care it can last for years. It can make a big difference to how children access the outdoors not just on our project, but also when out and about in parks and other outdoor places, where it supports their freedom to explore, play and get muddy.

Layering means that clothes can be put on and taken off, when necessary, to keep a comfortable temperature as well as allowing ease of movement.

Outer layers can be removed if an individual is feeling too hot, allowing the body temperature to drop to a comfortable level. By keeping a base and mid layer on, it prevents the body temperature dropping too much, when outer layers are removed.
